Several years ago Minichamps did a special Top Gear series of 1/43 scale models, more specifically those that got a spot on their Power Lap Times table, naturally the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 did an amazing lap time with the Stig behind the wheel ... and with these Minichamps model, a 1/43 scale version of the Stig comes with the model.

I already owned the green Gallardo LP560-4 by Minichamps from this Top Gear series, but I wasn't too impressed with the details on that model, so I never did add the Murciélago LP640 model from Minichamps ... until recently I found it to be on sale (normal price was €55) and just added it to several other 1/43 models that were on sale at the same time so I could save on shipping costs.

I have to say I am really pleasantly surprised by this Minichamps made Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, sure I have a few models of this specific Lamborghini in my collection already, including 1/43 models, but this Verde Draco is a different shade, and it does look really nice, especially with those black wheels and color-coded brake calipers.

If you look close you can even see the optional Q-Citura stitching pattern on the seats inside this small-scale Lamborghini, that is some very nice attention to detail from Minichamps ... in the end, I really like this model, and the imposing Stig figure next to it makes it even more interesting.
