This beautifully designed Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2, finished in dark green metallic over a brown tobacco interior, marks the sixth color KK-Scale has released for their 1/18 scale model of this early GT from Sant’Agata. I must admit, I really like this color combination.
Previously, I preferred the black-on-red version KK-Scale released a few years ago, but this new color combination just works perfectly on the Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2. I sure wouldn’t mind putting a real one in my garage, we’re talking about a 4-Liter V12 Gran Turismo from the Sixties, what’s not to like about that?
So I now own six different colors on the Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 from KK-Scale, and I like all of them, sure, these are sealed diecast models, so nothing opens, but unlike sealed models from some other manufacturers, these KK-Scale models do come with steerable front wheels, and that just looks good on display, and I don’t mind having multiple colors on the same model anyway, so a double win in my book.
