March 2023, Automobili Lamborghini SpA finally officially introduces the long-awaited Aventador successor, the first V12 hybrid production model to be made in Sant'Agata, meet the 1,015 CV Lamborghini Revuelto, internally known as the HPEV, or High Performance Electrified Vehicle, and usual they created a bespoke color for this new flagship model, Arancio Apodis.

We already saw the Lamborghini Sian and the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 which came with an NA V12 engine and an additional electric engine, powered by a supercapacitor, but both were very limited production specials, the Revuelto is the first production model from Lamborghini that has a newly developed V12 engine that's being assisted by three electric motors for a combined power output above the elusive 1,000 hp mark.

This Maisto model is set to mimic the launch specifications of the Lamborghini Revuelto, so the body is finished in an Ad Personam color called Arancio Apodis, wheels are the largest option available, 21-inch up front and 22-inch for the rear axle, this specific model is called the Altanero and they come in shiny black over Nero Lucido CCB brakes, which means Carbon Ceramic in Lamborghini terms.

For the interior, we get the Comfort seats finished in the Color Contrast Trim option that combines Nero Ade with color-matched Arancio Apodis leather, the beautiful Q-Citura stitching is present on the seats, door panels, and headliner, while we also get an orange Raging Bull crest on the headrests.

We also get the carbon fiber exterior options, which include the rearview mirrors and the engine surround, because we can't really call this an engine cover as there is no glass or anything over the actual V12 engine, it is wide open to the elements, and to admire from the outside.

The Upper exterior carbon package includes those mirrors and several other parts on the bodywork of the Lamborghini Revuelto, but you'll have to opt for the Lower exterior carbon package to get that upright in front of the rear wheels with the 'Revuelto' script, otherwise, you'll end up with a plain, flat side sill.

All in all this 1/18 scale model from Maisto is a really nice addition to the collection, and the fact they managed to have it available within 12 months of the real car being revealed is amazing, in fact, I haven't even received my MR model in Arancio Apodis to date, which is very odd indeed, usually, MR is the first one to have a 1/18 model available ... well, not this time it seems, but I'm quite happy with this Maisto, so much so that I ordered all four shades that are available right now, this bright orange, a beautiful light green one, and the two Carmodel exclusive shades, Giallo Inti and Grigio Vulcano, the latter being a very beautiful matt grey finish.
