Maisto has announced the 1/18 scale Lamborghini Revuelto, the brand-new V12 hybrid flagship from Sant'Agata, in two different shades, one being the launch spec in Arancio Apodis, while the second is a lime green color that does look interesting, however, so far neither has arrived in local webshops at this time.

As we've seen with the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 from Maisto, Carmodel, a distributor in Italy, managed to convince Maisto to create a limited edition, exclusive color on the new Revuelto, one being the Giallo Inti I reviewed earlier, and this Vulcano Matt Grey seen here, while the yellow comes with an orange interior, this grey one has the interior from the lime green car I think, and it looks amazing in my opinion.

As mentioned earlier, I haven't seen the orange or green models yet, but so far I'm going to state this matt grey one is the best-looking, the understated body color with the diamond polished look wheels over green calipers and partially green interior just work perfectly together, at least to me it does.

Despite this being a low-cost toy from Maisto, the model has a really nice look and feel on the shelve, up close the wheels show their silver paint instead of a chrome polished look, and yes, those large exhausts aren't open either, while on these Carmodel exclusives, there are no side windows, but keep in mind we're not looking at a €200 model either.

One more point of advice, keep the front hood and the engine cover closed, as usual Maisto put massive dogleg hinges on these models, but I'm ok with that, most of my models are on display with doors and hoods closed anyway, only some higher end models I would keep the engine cover over to show the V10 or V12 powerplant, but only if I have the same model in a different color next to it, closed up.

Some might think this is 'just a Maisto', and they are right, these are not collector's items by any means, and that's also reflected in the price, in the end, I love this model for what it is, a nice 1/18 scale Lamborghini Revuelto, so far I collected both Carmodel exclusive colors, and when the standard Maisto in orange and green are available I will add those to the collection too.
