Many years ago Maisto released a Playerz series, customized versions of regular models they already listed, fitted with oversized chrome wheels, no more front steering because these were just too large.

Add chromed engines, amplifiers, and speakers in the luggage compartment, and some even with large subwoofers behind the seats, and naturally a custom interior, usually with contrasting piping on the seats.

These did sell well back then, today it seems they are no longer as appreciated as before, and as I only had one of each shade Maisto released on the Gallardo 5.0 and the Murciélago 6.2 coupe, so when I saw these listed on a local second-hand site I just made the seller an offer and completed my collection.

This is the bright green metallic version of the Lamborghini Murciélago Playerz edition, complete with green piping on the grey seats, a partly green steering wheel, and a few more spots of green on the dashboard, the engine came with green details too.

In total Maisto released three shades on this specific model, this bright green, a nice orange metallic, and a red metallic, the latter apparently being the rarest, but I manage to find that one too, so I have all three shades on the Gallardo Playerz, and now also all three shades on this Murciélago Playerz ... by the way, there are also two shades on a Murcielago Roadster Playerz, gold metallic and purple metallic.
