When the original Lamborghini Miura Jota was lost in an unfortunate accident people started asking Lamborghini to have their Miura converted into a Jota too ... the factory actually refused this as the Jota was too radical, but they did accept to building an SVJ model, based on the regular SV but with air inlets and exhausts all over the bodywork, much like the Jota.
There were only a handful of factory built SVJ ever made, and there has only been one Miura Roadster ... so one owner had the bright idea to ask for a Miura SVJ Roadster, which was actually built.
This amazing car featured a removable roof section and wide wheel arches, however on this car they were angular, which looked really nice actually.
The silver shade Looksmart used for their 1/43 scale replica works really nice to view all the details in the design, however the current, French owner had the car repainted in bright green, which he felt suited the impressive lines of the Miura better.
Anyway, the Looksmart Miura SVJ Roadster surely deserves a place in your collection, it might not be the least expensive model, but trust me, it is worth it.
