Just a nice, little 1/43 scale model of the 1971 Lamborghini Miura SV, finished in the classic red over a black interior, with silver wheels and side sills.
This model was made to order by Autoworld, a permanent classic car exposition in Brussels, Belgium, for the Italian Car Passion event held from December 3, 2015 to January 31, 2016 ... only 504 units of this Triple 9 Premium model were made, and with the Autoworld logo on the side, it's only sold through the official shop at the museum.
I have seen this model being advertised without the blue Autoworld logo on the door, same red shade, also limited to 504 units ... so I'm not sure if 504 were made in total, or if 504 were made without the logo, and 504 with the logo.
The strange thing with this Lamborghini Miura scale model, it says SV on the rear, and it says 1971 on the plinth, and the window surrounds are chrome ... so that's all consistent with the final SV evolution. But when you look closer at the headlights, there are still fins around them, and that feature went away with the SV introduction, the 'eyelashes' were only used on the original P400, and on the S version, not on the SV.
But wait, there is at least one Miura P400 SV that came with these eyelashes, a very early production SV from 1971 ... Ferruccio's personal car, that's on display at the Tonino family museum, that is a red Miura SV, but with gold wheels and side rockers ... but it does have these fins.
Originally released in December 2015.
