I didn't buy the expensive 1/18 scale model of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante made by MR, I decided to wait it out for AUTOart to release their model, which is coming in 2019 by the way, but that did leave me without a V10 Performante model ... until I found this 1/24 scale Jada Toys model ... this one is from their Hyper Spec range, not sure what's that all about, but it looks decent enough to add to my collection anyway.
I know they released a yellow and this orange version, but the shop I bought it from only had the orange available at the time, so I ended up with this one, orange exterior on a black interior on black Loge wheels ... Jada even had orange brake calipers on this model ... a nice detail.
Normaly the special rear wing and the rear diffuser are finished in Forged Composite on the real car, but that would have been too difficult for Jada Toys I guess, so they went with satin black all around ... that's probably what we should expect from a €25 model anyway.
The interior is nice, not very detailed, but still it's all there ... would have been even nicer if Jada Toys added the orange 'Y' on the seats for instance (they did add the orange livery on their Centenario model in the same range), but in the end 'all black' like this is possible on the real car too, so we can't complain too much.
Jada Toys really likes to use chrome on their engines it seems, so this Huracan Performante also comes with a chromed V10 engine behind the seats ... which looks a bit too much like a toy, but it's a model from Jada Toys in the end ... Toys.
Not the best model out there for the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, but still a very nice addition to my collection.
