I already have a few 1/24 scale Lamborghini models made by Jada Toys, they aren't the best detailed out there, but still I rather like them.
When I was visiting an Italian car show in the Netherlands I found this orange Lamborghini Centenario model from the Hyper Spec Series, full black wheels are not really suited on the Centenario, but they do look mean and I was rather impressed by the interior of this small 1/24 scale model, they even went through the trouble of adding the orange livery on the seats.
Even the rear wing is adjustable on this model and the doors, front hood and engine cover can open ... about the engine cover ... Jada Toys made the same mistake as Maisto did ... the Centenario engine cover lifts off in real life, it isn't hinged ... but I'm ok with that for a model in this price range.
The engine is a bit of a letdown, being done in chrome, it just looks like a toy now, Jada could have done better here I feel.
Now, this model is from their set of four models, finished in yellow, red, grey and this orange, and they come in a big 'plate' like container, hence there is no box. I did find out later on that Jada Toys also has this model in a nice box, but I missed that when buying it ... and by the way, €23 was too much ... I overpaid on this model, that's what you get when you buy at a car show ... don't do that without quickly looking up the prices online on your phone.
In the end, I am still happy with this model, it isn't anywhere near AUTOart quality, but that also reflects in the price, which normally is about €17 online.
