This might just be a toy, but when I saw it for sale at one of the stands are the Essen Motor Show this year I just couldn't resist getting it, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 painted like a police car ... with a twist, both the black and white on this car is matte ... how cool is that.

This is a nice 1/24 scale model made by Jada Toys, so it rides on deep dish wheels like their tuner series, the only thing that let me down a bit was the fact there were no lights on the roof, on a police car this is a must ... so I added them myself.

I went to a local toy store and got a nice police car, carefully removed the lights from the roof and donated the 'unmarked' police car to my son ... he didn't mind getting a nice white Porsche to play with, and I had my police lights to put on the Lamborghini.

Sure this isn't a collector's item, but I must admit I really like it, especially with the lights on the roof, would be nice if they would actually work, but you can't win them all.
