Why AUTOart suddenly decided to add two more colors to their line of 1/18 scale Lamborghini Diablo SE30 JOTA two years after their initial release is somewhat beyond me, but the fact they added another white one to this series is really strange if you ask me.
If you look at AUTOart item 79141 you'll notice it is the exact same model, albeit finished in Balloon White over a red interior, while this new release, item 79145 is listed as Impact White and it comes with a blue interior ... but still, that's two shades of white on the same model, why would you even bother doing that?
As we all know, shades like Balloon White are a pearl metallic version of white, and it never comes out as being pure white, there is always a hue of another color over it, which might explain why AUTOart went with Impact White on this new release, which is a pure white, not even a metallic shade, and I have to admit, it does look rather nice with that blue interior.
Naturally, I had to add it to my collection, but in all honesty, I love the earlier Balloon White over red a lot more, I really like that contrast with the red leather seats, and pearl white is such a nice color too, so if you already own item 79141 from AUTOart, I wouldn't bother adding this new model to your collection, but if you prefer a pure white model over a pearl metallic shade, this is your chance, it is still and amazing-looking model that is very nicely detailed, surely worth her place on the shelve.
There is also a SuperFly Yellow released by AUTOart on this Lamborghini Diablo SE30 JOTA, which makes a total of five different shades on this specific model alone, which of the colors you prefer is up to you, but I do like most of them anyway.
