Back in the Nineties, you could effectively order the Lamborghini Diablo SV without the large decal on the side, most of the cars we see at events will have the massive, stylish SV on the side, but if requested Automobili Lamborghini SpA would ship the Diablo SV out to the dealer with the decals still on their support, rolled up on the passenger seat, so you could ask the dealer to fit them, or just leave them alone and have a 'bare' Diablo SV.
And I actually do like the Diablo SV without that massive decal on the side, so when I saw this blue AUTOart one listed online that had the decal carefully removed by the previous owner, I just couldn't resist adding it to my collection.
So no, I didn't attack my AUTOart made 1/18 scale Lamborghini Diablo SV with nail polish remover, I still have a pristine one in my collection, this one is a second unit, but without the decal, and I really like both of them.
As this is just a quick review on this specific model, feel free to take a look at our in depth review of the original blue from AUTOart on this Lamborghini Diablo SV.
