I had been looking for the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster from MR on a 1/18 scale for many years now, especially the LAMBO021A release, finished in Blu LeMans over an interior with Rosso details, just like the actual car featured in the official press release from Automobili Lamborghini SpA, but as usual, by the time I could afford this model, it was already sold out from MR.

Over the years, I hardly ever found one listed for sale, let alone for a normal price, and it seemed any of the MR-made Aventador Superveloce Roadsters were sold by their owners until I found one on a local marketplace, finished in New Giallo Orion, black wheels, yellow calipers and yellow details on the carbon fiber sport seats, and for just €250 I couldn't resist adding it to the collection.

So I finally have the Roadster version of the stunning Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce in my collection, limited to just 500 units in real life, this V12-powered exotic pushed out 750 hp onto the streets, just like the Veneno before it, and what made it even better, this specific model was a one-off version.

Remember, when you buy a brand new Lamborghini at an official dealership, add your personal touch to it with options and possibly Ad Personam customization, you'll also receive a 1/18 scale model made by MR in the exact same spec as your real car, but sometimes these models arrive late at the dealer, or the customer isn't interested in scale models, so from time to time, these models are left at the dealer.

This bright yellow metallic unit is one of those scale models built for a customer who never picked it up, so it isn't the regular MR LAMBO021D in New Giallo Orion, but this one is a One-off model, comes with a black plaque on the plinth and is delivered inside a white box instead of the normal black MR boxes.

For now, I'm quite happy to finally own a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Roadster on a 1/18 scale, I'm still looking out for the Blu LeMans version, and if I find one listed for sale I might add it, but I have to admit this yellow metallic does look really nice too.
