Anson made one of the first affordable Miura models in 1/18 scale years ago, it could not be compared with models from AutoArt or Kyosho, but neither could it's price to be honest.

In scale models the phrase 'you get what you pay for' is true, so don't expect high details on models that only cost about € 15, so when I found a nice yellow Miura by Anson at a car show I didn't hesitate and added it my collection.

At home I put some Turtle Wax on it and buffed it into a nice shine before I actually photographed it, I think the dealer had this model in stock for quite a while actually, and offered it at a discount just to clear the space, my luck.

I already owned the red Miura from Anson for several years, and knew what to expect, and I wasn't disappointed, the car is nice, the details are nice, but nothing fancy.

The panels don't fit too tightly, the doors don't line up and underneath the front hood the detail is completely missing. However the engine looks nice, not fantastic, but good enough actually.

So why would I buy a model that isn't perfectly finished when I can get a Kyosho with stunning detail ? Just to make my collection complete, I also own the recently released Bburago model of the Miura in red, an entire series from Kyosho and a white AutoArt Miura SV ... I even have an original Polistil Miura, which is very rare these days.

If you take your collection serious a lower quality model like this one has it's space among it I feel, perhaps not to display it permanently in the living room, but it remains a Lamborghini model, and honestly I think these Anson models could become rare in the future.
