This very impressive shade of green is in fact my fourth Bburago model, I now have all the different paints done by Bburago on the 1/18 scale model of the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4, yellow metallic was the first one I received straight from the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, a few weeks later I managed to locate the three other shades from a well known online shop in Germany.

While silver metallic looks really good on the Huracan I'm not too convinced about the white metallic made by Bburago, it just looks rather weird to be honest ... however the green metallic livery is absolutely breathtaking, I'm sure the real car will look at least equally impressive in this Verde paint, there is however one question that keeps creeping into my mind ... is this the new Verde Mantis shade available from Automobili Lamborghini SpA on the new Huracan or is it more a Verde Ithaca used by Bburago ... whichever it is, she looks stunning.

The green Huracan model came in a different boxA lot has been going on about the box Bburago used for the new Huracan, strange thing was the fact the outside of the box showed a generic 'Lamborghini' script while the only reference to the Huracan LP610-4 was on the inside of the box, as a decal ... so is Bburago using generic Lamborghini boxes to cut costs and just differentiate between the different models with a simple transparent decal inside?

It does look like it, I also got a new shade on the Aventador LP700-4 1/18 model from Bburago, a very nice dark blue metallic ... and it came in an identical box to this green Huracan ... same generic exterior and a decal inside to show the 'Aventador LP700-4' designation.

An additional difference between this green Huracan and the other three shades when talking about the box was the fact this green V10 was the only one showing a Sesto Elemento drawing on the outside ... the three other Huracan came in a plain black box with Lamborghini crest and scripting.

I have to admit I was really impressed with the silver metallic shade on the Bburago 1/18 scale model of the Huracan, perhaps it isn't an 'in your face' shade as we've been used to see on Lamborghini cars, but the silver metallic just shows the lines and intricate design of the Huracan so well ... I just like it a lot.

However when it comes to drawing attention you can't get much better than this green metallic shade ... it just screams 'look at me' from every angle, yellow is very good at this too, but bright green metallic is just that little better at it ... without going over the top like pink or something like that ... Verde suits the Huracan like a glove, I'm sure many will be ordered in this green shade.

Too bad the brake calipers can't be color coded straight from the factory, standard these are finished in silver while the black brake calipers behind the standard wheels used by Bburago on this model are in fact an option ... remember black brake calipers are standard on the Aventador while silver is an option on the V12 flagship ... on the V10 it is the other way around ... why not I guess?

Another look at all four shades created by Bburago on the Lamborghini HuracanHaving all four shades made by Bburago in their initial production run of the 1/18 scale Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 might sound like a bit of an overkill ... but at these prices I couldn't resist getting them all, I've paid €35 each for them in the end (I got a second yellow one by the way, my first one was a gift) but by now you'll be able to find these at €30 already ... sure that is €120 for four of them ... but the only alternative in the near future is a sealed resin model by MR that will probably go for €400 or more ... and when AutoArt would make the Huracan it will surely be touching the €200 mark too, keeping in mind AutoArt hasn't confirmed anything about a possible Huracan production I'm more than happy with my quartet of Bburago models ... when the time comes they will be joined by some higher end model of this new Lamborghini V10 car.
