No, I'm not going crazy and buying a model I already owned, I know I've done that with a 1/43 scale model, and at that point I decided I needed to make a list of my entire collection, to avoid buying doubles, but this green Lamborghini Urraco P250 from Kyosho on a 1/18 scale isn't the same one I purchased in March of 2024.

The older releases from Kyosho on the Lamborghini Urraco are all rare, still, it seems some colors are even more difficult to locate these days, the Oro being one of them, but also this Verde one has become quite rare, and when it does come up for sale, it gets expensive in a hurry.

But some Kyosho models are even more exclusive, and those are the Circuit Wolf editions, only sold in the Far East, and extremely rare nowadays, I know there is a black Countach LP400, a red Miura SVR, an orange Miura P400, and a green Urraco in the Circuit Wolf series, and when I saw the latter listed on eBay I just had to add it to the collection, that was March 2024 and because the model came all the way from Taiwan, with the additional import costs, it set me back a massive €340.

With that model, I completed the series for the Kyosho Lamborghini Urraco, but being a Circuit Wolf edition, I kept an eye out for the regular version too, just my OCD playing up I guess. It took a while, and I did find the 08441G version a few times, but at ridiculous pricing, until in July of 2024 one was listed on eBay, with shipping for just €211, which I considered a reasonable price, so I've added it to the collection.

When I put both models side by side it looks like the paint isn't exactly the same, but that might just be an impression, I haven't heard that the Circuit Wolf versions used a different paint for them, I could be wrong, but there are indeed several details that are different between these two models.

This regular model doesn't come with license plates on it, while the Circuit Wolf edition has Japanese plates both at the front and at the rear, also note the lights in the front bumper, they are all-white on this edition while the CW one has an amber part for the blinker, and probably the biggest difference is the interior, the standard version has a two-tone interior, black and grey, the CW version comes with an all-black interior.

I now have nine different Lamborghini Urraco models from Kyosho on a 1/18 scale, which includes the six different shades on the regular release, the Circuit Wolf edition, and the two different versions of the Urraco Rally Kyosho released in orange.
