I have to admit, I was rather surprised when I saw the announcement from KK-Scale that they would release two more shades on their 1970 Lamborghini Espada model, they already released silver, blue, dark red, and gold on this classic four-seater GT from the Seventies, and now they announced a bright red and a lighter blue, almost turquoise shade.

And better yet, both of these new shades would come with the knock-off center-lock wheel seen on their silver metallic release, both with a light tan interior, so safe to say I just had to add the Rosso to my collection, as I know of an almost exact spec to this new model car to exist in real life, in the Netherlands, only difference are the wheels, on the real car these were gold painted, but other than that, it’s an almost identical scale model.

I was fortunate enough to be able to add this fifth KK-Scale Lamborghini Espada when it was on discount, so I only paid €64 for it, and that is really a very good deal on these classic Espada models, they are not really to be compared to the older AUTOart diecast models, but the latter are also €400 and more these days, so I’m quite happy with my KK-Scale ones in the collection.
