I already owned the white 2007 edition of the Murcielago R-GT from Motorama, but when I was covering the 2009 Total 24h de Spa I passed a stand selling scale cars and I found this black model of the same car, naturally overpriced during such an event, but I still decided to add it to my collection as I never saw this color before.
In this black configuration the Raging Bull was entered into the 2006 FIA GT Championship with starting number 38, while the first races of the 2007 season this black car had nr 7 like this scale model ... for the Total 24h de Spa in 2007 the car was re-painted in white, still bearing nr 7.
I was already impressed about the details on these Motorama die cast models when I got the white car, and this black one is actually identical, for it's price these 1/24 models are really nicely finished, only the engine is a bit of a let down, but the interior makes up for it by featuring all kinds of screens and a roll-over cage complete with special seat ... just like on the real car.
Motorama also offers these two cars in the smaller 1/43rd scale, but those are actually merely toys, comparable to the 1/43 models from Bburago, if you are looking for a very good 1/43 scale model of the Murcielago R-GT I would advice getting the Looksmart or EBBRO models, they are rather expensive, but they are extremely well finished.
I doubt you will be able to find a better finished 1/24 model of the Murcielago R-GT when keeping in mind the very low price these Motorama versions are offered for, so I have no doubt to recommend them to any avid collector.
