I've had my eye on this model for a while now, but with a list price of about €15 the shipment cost associated with buying it online made it rather ridiculous to buy ... however when I found it at a shop on the Essen Motor Show grounds I no longer hesitated and added it to the collection.
Sure this is only a Bburago, and we all know in the 1/24 scale these aren't highlights, but still it is a Lamborghini, and a very special one too ... so I just had to get it anyway.
Chrome disc brakes look a bit toy like, the carbon fiber on the wheels looks totally different from the carbon look of the bodywork while in real life it looks identical and I'm not even going into describing the interior.
Sure it all looks decent, but just don't expect it to look great ... that's not the point of this kind of diecast either, it is just too rough to be collectible in the end, but again that is not why I bought it in the end ... I'm not even going to put it next to my 1/18 MR made Sesto Elemento ... no need to disgrace this Bburago like that.
The Sesto Elemento from Bburago in 1/24 is a perfect model for the market it is intended to ... and that is just how I'm going to grade it.
